SONIA'S BLACK EYE PEA RECIPE
1 Can Trappey's Black Eyed Peas with jalapeno
1 Can Bushes Black Eye Peas with Snaps
Drain liquid
1/3 chopped red onion
1/2 chopped green bell pepper
3-6 chopped medium tomatoes
1/3 Bottle Lite Wishbone Italian Dressing
Mix all together and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Serve with Tortilla Chips.
The photo above is from a post on Rustic/Western tablescapes that I just posted HERE. Texas Caviar makes a great appetizer when serving BBQ or Tex-Mex. I served it above in margarita glasses with tortilla chips and placed it at individual place settings. No need to share! LOL. Whenever I have served it, everyone has loved it. |
